The Parliamentary Counsel’s Office (PCO) provides a comprehensive and integrated range of high-quality services for the drafting of, and access to, NSW legislation and the giving of advice and information about legislation.

PCO is currently recruiting for **Legislative Support Officers **to support PCO’s function of providing access to NSW legislation**.** **Officers will be engaged in producing made or updated legislation for publication to the NSW legislation website. This will require the use of specialised software, working with structured SGML and XML documents. Full training will be provided.

- Legislative Support Officer, Grade 1/2

**This role is for you if you**:

- have an aptitude for technology and an interest in learning to use software that manages complex business critical documents
- enjoy solving puzzles that call on memory, pattern matching/recognition and attention to detail

Please note that while this role offers the opportunity to work flexibly, the first two months of the role will require successful applicants to be present inhouse for comprehensive training in legislative publishing and the underlying software and business processes.
