**The Opportunity**

The Combat Systems Communications Engineering Manager shall provide RF/tactical communications engineering services associated with radio frequency and tactical communications systems in areas such as antenna, waveguide, amplifier, radio and demodulator design in the Defence environment, for one or more frequency bands that includes HF, VHF, UHF, and microwave.

In this role, you will also:

- Conduct requirement analysis, capability and concept development
- Perform System Design and architecture development activities
- Conduct implementation, verification and validation
- Support communications networks and related engineering service
- Conduct review of contract deliverables

**About you**
- Formal engineering qualifications
- Maritime domain experience is desirable
- Combat weapons/Engineering experience is highly desirable
- Knowledge and experience of the Defence Systems Engineering process and an understanding of the Defence Capability Life Cycle would be highly regarded
- Security Clearance: Baseline minimum with willingness to upgrade to NV1
