**About You**:
You will be a caring and passionate individual who is dedicated to providing support to our clients. It will require interacting with the client, assisting with day to day activities and most of all ensuring their safely and well-being.
This role is perfect for those who want to make a positive difference in someone’s life.
**Your responsibilities include but are not limited to**:
- Client requires personal care, meal preparations, medication administration, feminine hygiene and assist client with showering.
- Assist client's family with household tasks.
- Assist client with PEG feed.
- Support clients to participate in age appropriate activities and tasks including employment, in home support and community access.
- Provide direct care assistance to each client in accordance with their service plan and as directed
- Work in accordance with the medication administration policy, work health and safety procedures and client rights policies including privacy and confidentiality.
- Monitor the safety and well-being of the clients and report any concerns to the Manager.
- Provide 1:1 or small group training and support in response to individual client needs.
- Ensure completion of appropriate documentation. Relevant information on support provided is to be recorded in client notes and communication book as required.
- Work with clients, family/carers, relevant case managers and other professionals to support the client's individual goals. In conjunction with other members of staff assist in developing, implementing and evaluating training and behaviour programs to attain identified individual goals.
- Liaise extensively with other staff to ensure the overall smooth and consistent running of the service.
- Report regularly to manager.
- Provide back up and support to other staff as necessary.
**Essential Criteria**
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, WWC Check, First Aid & CPR and ABN
- Cert 3 aged care or individual support
- Driver’s license with fully insurance motor vehicle
- 100 points ID
- NDIS Worker Orientation/induction Module
- Must be fully vaccinated
- Nursing experience preferred (Enrolled nurse or Endorsed Enrolled Nurse)

Pay: $29.59 - $31.50 per hour

- Afternoon shift
- Evening shift
- Night shift
Licence/Certification:
- First Aid Certification (required)
- Proof of vaccination (required)
- NDIS Workers Check (required)
- Driver Licence (preferred)
