**Primary Purpose of the Role**
The primary responsibility of the Regional Administration Coordinator (RAC) is to is to provide high quality administrative and management support services to the Principal Solicitor, Care & Protection/Family Law Practice to ensure the delivery of culturally appropriate legal advice, including early intervention and outreach services, representation, community legal education primarily in family law matters.

***About the Role**
The Regional Administration Coordinator (RAC) is part of the high-performing Care & Protection and Family Law team, overseeing the work of Administrators, Field Officers, and Paralegals.

The Regional Administration Coordinator will be responsible for but not limited to:

- Providing assistance and support to the Principal Solicitor and staff in the day-to-day running of the Care & Protection and Family Law Practice offices across the State
- Supporting the Principal Solicitor with administrative tasks to ensure efficient operations across Care & Protection and Family Law Practice offices
- Direct supervision and support of Administrators, Field Officers, and Paralegals to maintain high-quality work outputs, assist with delegated human resource and people management functions (including recruitment, induction, and leave management), and manage general responsibilities such as resource allocation and workflow coordination
- Taking the lead role in supporting and assisting the rollout of standardised systems, procedures, and record management
- Training, supporting, and assisting Administration Officers, Field Officers, and Paralegals in all relevant systems and processes
- Oversighting and organising the maintenance of ALS assets and resources, including motor vehicles and office equipment, and liaising with landlords, tradespeople, office cleaners, and other service providers

We’re looking for someone who brings:

- Identify as Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander
- Proven interpersonal, communication, negotiation and people management skills and ability to provide quality customer service in a high-volume work environment.
- Highly developed office administration and support services skills and maintain confidentiality.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills combined with demonstrated advanced computer skills and ability to provide guidance to other staff members.
- Ability to meet deadlines, work without supervision and manage a diverse workload, together with high-level conceptual and practical skills.
- Knowledge and appreciation of the cultural and social needs of Aboriginal people combined with continuing respect and support for Aboriginal cultural practices in dealing with clients, their families, communities and staff.
