**Rundown of Responsibilities**:

- Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will lead, manage and develop the product portfolio, supplier base and commercial trading terms on behalf of the category team.
- Strategically source product ranges at a local and international level to ensure volumes and trends are exceeding expectations
- Increase efficiencies and decrease cost through workflow, system and process improvement across marketing funds and rebates
- Play a lead role in the reporting on category performance and support the commercial team with analysis, forecasting and stock optimisation

**What it Takes**:

- Category management and commercial analyst leadership experience from a high-volume, hardgoods trade focused environment
- Demonstrated success in driving improvements across fulfilment service levels, GMROI, stock turn and working capital
- Proven success in driving system and process change within an inventory function
- Ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment with multiple data inputs and layers of complexity
- Exceptional business intelligence, data analytical skills, coupled with advanced Excel and a knowledge of marketing principles in a B2B environment is paramount
- You are the conduit between product, finance and operations, your relationship building skills are second to none
