Join a dynamic team at a leading supplier specializing in medical equipment, chemicals, ambient and chilled food, packaging, and large fit-out items for restaurants. With a diverse range of clients including major brands like Nandos and Starbucks, our client prides itself on delivering quality products and exceptional service. They are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Inventory Controller to join their team.

**Role Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage inventory levels to meet demand and minimize stockouts while avoiding overstock situations.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends, forecast demand, and make informed purchasing decisions.
- Collaborate with the operations team to optimize warehouse layout and storage solutions for efficient stock handling.
- Train and supervise two direct reports, the Inventory Coordinators, to ensure they adhere to inventory management procedures.
- Work closely with the sales and customer service teams to address customer inquiries and resolve inventory-related issues promptly.
- Utilize Excel and other tools to perform data analysis and generate reports on inventory performance.
- Take a hands-on approach by actively participating in inventory counts, audits, and stock reconciliations.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in inventory management, preferably in a warehouse or distribution environment.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze data and identify areas for improvement.
- Experience working with a diverse range of SKUs and understanding the complexity of managing inventory across multiple product categories.
- Ability to work autonomously and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in Excel and other relevant software for data analysis and reporting.
