Care to Change was established as an NDIS Service provider in 2018 and has more than doubled in revenue year on year and continues to focus on strong and sustainable growth. Care to Change has a specific focus on SIL Support, STA and MTA Support, Palliative Support and Disability Accommodation. As a Profit-for Purpose company significant resources are directed to providing free transportation services to our participants along with a free advocacy service and subsidised housing. The COO will lead the day-to-day operations while supporting the Executive Management Team to focus on the ongoing growth strategy.

Reporting to the Executive Management Team, the COO has 8 direct reports and will lead and manage the daily operations. You must enhance the support services to drive the delivery of the highest quality service to the end customer. There has been significant investment of time and money to create a unique, vibrant culture and the COO must quickly embrace it and win the respect and trust of employees by living and breathing it.

The key role challenges are to:

- Work with the HR manager and Service Managers to create a continual pipeline of exceptional employees to meet the strategic growth plans;
- Become an internal sounding board who provides expert advice and guidance that assists employees overcome hurdles;
- Review current systems and processes to identify areas for improvement to enable the business to operate more efficiently and productively enhancing the customer experience;
- Use your in-depth knowledge of NDIS to streamline systems and maintain compliance, increase awareness of how the legislation practically applies and decrease audit recommendations;
- Assist in the development of the growth strategy and then drive the implementation of it to operationalise it and make it a reality;
- Use your extensive industry experience and understanding to challenge the Executive Managers on key decisions in an appropriate manner.

You are a degree qualified, Executive who possesses extensive technical expertise in, and practical “hands on” experience dealing with the NDIS. You are a natural leader with sound organisational and time management skills, along with broad knowledge of strategy, people and culture, finance and technology. You thrive on challenging the norm and developing new ideas to drive consistent improvements and want to be part of a rapidly growing, profitable business that is making a real difference to the lives of NDIS participants.
