**About the Role**
VenuesWest is seeking a highly experienced person to provide leadership, operational and technical expertise to support our increasing strategic focus on safety and risk management for all employees, contractors and the public across VenuesWest’s portfolio of venues.
Reporting to the Director Business Support Services, and leading a small team, this role liaises with other technical experts to ensure the setting of clear direction to strengthen the safety and risk functions.
The role provides a very diverse opportunity to work broadly across both management and technical areas of Safety and Risk for an organisation responsible for four precincts which are home to the 13 venues across Perth and the metropolitan area.
Our venues support a range of activities for customers including high performance athletes and sporting teams, major sport and entertainment events, school competition, children of all ages developing confidence and skills, and physical fitness and sporting activities promoting wellbeing in our community.

This is a permanent full-time opportunity, and whilst the position will be based at HBF Stadium in Mount Claremont, mobility may be required between our portfolio of facilities.

You will possess strong interpersonal skills to liaise with the broad range of stakeholders including contractors, service providers, tenants and VenuesWest Board, Executive and People Managers.
With demonstrated expertise in creating and advocating a strong safety culture you will possess leadership skills to empower your team to help embed this across the organisation.
