**About the role**

**Initial Day-to-day duties**
- Sanding furniture parts
- Filling and resining timber
- Feeding timber through thicknesses, 4-siders, copy shapers & wide belt sanders
- Making plenty of chair parts
- Packing and unpacking timber
- General clean-up - then progressing through the apprenticeship to full furniture making

**About you**

To be successful in this role, you will:

- Take pride in your work
- Display a willingness to learn, take direction and develop skills
- Ensure quality standards are maintained
- Be physically fit due to the amount of manual handling involved
- Be punctual, reliable, and hard-working
- Excellent communication skills and a strong ability to work in a team
- Hold a current WA driver's license (desirable)
- Have a White Card or willingness to obtain one
- Have a relevant Pre-Apprenticeship (desirable)
