About the Role
This role is responsible for Risk Management across Enterprise Finance (EF), managing EF Risk Profile in accordance with ANZ’s Non-Financial Risk (NFR) requirements and will also be responsible for leading independent controls assurance across EF in accordance with ANZ’s NFR requirements.

What will your day look like?
Enterprise Finance (EF) Business Governance & Controls (BG&C) (1st Line Risk)
Provide thought leadership on all Non-Financial Risk (NFR) and Risk Management matters across EF and with Group Risk functions. Lead proactive monitoring of the EF Risk Profile, initial triage and assessment of all risk issues, events or control matters and overseeing compliance with all risk management requirements under the NFR Risk Framework
Lead EF Risk Management Committee (RMC), NFR Governance Forums, Steering Committees & Reporting
Lead EF Risk Management Committee chaired by Chief Financial Officer and prepare all papers
Risk and Control Owner support
Guide the respective EF Risk and Control Owners in ensuring that risk and controls are well managed and performing periodic risk assessments as required by the NFR framework
ESG Reporting
Provide NFR guidance and support to the Climate Program and Communications & Public Affairs team with respect to ESG
Controls Assurance
Lead the assessment of the design and operating effectiveness of EF key controls (all key risks and key controls per the EF risk profile) and the planning, scheduling execution and review (including peer and quality review) of key controls testing for EF key risks as held in risk profile
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
‘Must have’ knowledge, skills and experiences
Worked in either an external audit, internal audit or operational risk management 1st line function
People leadership experience and skills
Reporting to senior stakeholders (such as Audit Committees, Risk management Committees)
Responsible for design and delivery of assurance programs
‘Good to have’ knowledge, skills and experiences
Financial services/ banking experience
ASX experience
