**Job Title**: Accounts Payable Team Leader (Contract)

**Contract Length**: Temporary (ASAP Start), 3-month contract with potential for permanency

**Salary**: $47-51 per hour + super

**Location**: Local Council Eastern Suburbs, Melbourne

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead and manage the accounts payable function, including supervision of two direct reports.
- Oversee the processing of accounts payable transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Develop procedural documents and provide guidance to staff, offering training to stakeholders to enhance their understanding of accounts payable processes and systems.
- Utilize advanced knowledge of TechnologyOne/FinanceOne AP Module to streamline processes and drive efficiencies.

**Job Requirements**:

- Advanced skills in Accounts Payable and intermediate skills in Accounts Receivable.
- Demonstrated experience with TechnologyOne/FinanceOne, particularly in the AP Module.
- Proven leadership experience, with the ability to effectively manage a team.
- Previous experience within government, not-for-profit, education, healthcare, or aged care sectors, or mid to large-scale organizations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
