**The Company**
Due to an internal promotion an Accounts Payable Manager role has come to market with a well renowned global investments business.
**The Role**
Managing a team of 4 and reporting to Finance Manager responsibilities include.
- Reviewing and processing invoices into system
- Administer and manage the timely payments of AMEX corporate cards
- Driving the business on purchase order requisitions
- Monthly review and testing of SOX controls assigned to the Accounts Payable function
- Propose and maintain internal controls on Accounts Payable policies and procedures
- Manage, lead, and coach the team ensuring accurate coding and processing of invoices
- Implement process improvements within the accounts payable function to improve efficiency
- Processing of petty cash reimbursements
- Resolving accounts queries with external suppliers
- Ensuring timely payments are made to external suppliers, and ensuring that payment terms are in line with the company's policy
- Performing monthly vendors' reconciliation for large and high-volume suppliers Liaising with internal customers on any Accounts Payable issues or reports required
- Maintain a safe working environment ensuring all local and national OHSE&Q requirements, policies and procedures are being met
- Ad-Hoc tasks as directed
**About You**
- You will have previous experience in an AP Team Leader role, ideally with a multinational complex business
- An assertive and strong management style and have dealt with difficult situations and team dynamics before.
- Excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement
- Be available immediately
