**Your new company**

Privately owned and growing by acquisition, this established insurer, is seeking a self-motivated and driven Junior Analyst to join their Finance and Analytics team.

**Your new role**
Your role will support both the Analytics and Finance teams and your duties will include but not be limited to:

- Data input and analysis for management reporting
- Create, develop, maintain, and enhance queries, databases, and spreadsheets for stakeholders
- Bank and general ledger account reconciliations
- Month end and quarterly reporting
- Ad-hoc projects for Senior Analysts and championing process improvement initiatives

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Tertiary qualification - majors in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or Accounting will be considered
- Analytically minded with knowledge of databases, data manipulation and formulas
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- A methodical approach, with keen attention to detail
- Ability to communicate at all levels, and strong stakeholder management skills
- Proactive attitude and desire to add value and grow in a rapidly changing organisation
