About the role:

We are looking for a curious and driven individual to join our Research team as a Junior Resources Analyst. This entry-level role is designed to build your capabilities over a minimum of 12 months, with the goal of progressing into an Analyst position. Based in our West Perth office, you will focus on metals and mining (precious and base metals).

What you will be doing:

  • Assist Senior Analysts with financial modelling, interpreting company results, and writing equity research reports.
  • Collaborate across teams to generate investment ideas with commercial impact.
  • Attend site visits and engage with industry stakeholders
  • Contribute to daily market updates and investment publications.
  • Assist with data processing, writing, editing, and proofing.
  • Support research distribution and database management.

What you will bring:

  • Degree in Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • RG146 compliance and Authorised Representative status (or willingness to obtain).
  • Strong interest in financial analysis and investment markets.
  • Prior experience in financial services, or an interest in the resources sector is highly regarded.
  • Strong numerical and data processing skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management and ability to work under pressure.
  • Collaborative mindset and relationship-building skills.
  • Mining engineers or geologists looking to transition into financial markets are encouraged to apply.
