We're seeking a
Senior GIS Analyst
to lead the delivery of complex spatial projects, mentor junior team members, and shape best practice in a mission-driven organisation. You'll work closely with Prescribed Bodies Corporate (PBCs), Native Title, and Aboriginal Heritage Groups to ensure culturally respectful and technically excellent outcomes.

Position Criteria

  • Degree in spatial science, information systems, or equivalent experience
  • 5–8 years of professional GIS experience
  • Strong project management and client engagement skills
  • Proven leadership in data analysis, mapping, and problem-solving
  • Culturally aware and passionate about empowering Indigenous communities

What You'll Do

  • Deliver advanced geospatial solutions using ESRI, QGIS, FME, and related tools
  • Manage end-to-end projects, from data capture to visualisation and delivery
  • Lead meetings, manage timelines, and strengthen client relationships
  • Mentor GIS Analysts and support continuous improvement across the team
  • Champion Indigenous data sovereignty and cultural safety in all project work
