**Your new role**
Working as the Release & Environment Coordinator you will build on existing tools and processes, as well as contribute to developing our framework, to embed a consistent approach across the Service.

You will be responsible for the coordination of non-production environments to support development, testing, training and production support. With your core experience in release management, you will also coordinate, plan and manage significant release activities through these environments whilst ensuring that risks are appropriately managed.

Your experience and ability to influence organisational change as these functions develop maturity over time, will help lead to your success in this role.

Experience working in large, complex organisations is essential with experience across Windows Server Patching and Application Patch Management.

You will have experience in software development including operating within an ITIL environment with a waterfall SDLC, as well as an understanding of modern delivery approaches.

This is a great opportunity to join a complex environment looking to develop standardised environment and release management frameworks as an integral part of the IS&T Quality and Assurance Branch.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Demonstrated knowledge of ICT release, testing and change management processes.
- Demonstrated experience working within broad direction to develop and manage complex IT environments within large organisations.
- Experience in software development including operating within an ITIL environment with a waterfall SDLC, with a strong understanding of modern development approaches.
- Demonstrated high levels of analytical skills, methodical approach and attention to detail working to resolve complex and critical deployment activities.
- Experience defining and embedding release frameworks to create a standard approach.
- Successful record of customer service, addressing both internal IS&T and business customer needs.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills to enable complex technical ICT concepts to be easily understood by a wide range of stakeholders. You will be preparing high quality notes and documents to be used in a professional manner.
- Experience with Windows Server Patching (essential)
- Experience with Application Patch Management (desirable)

**What you'll get in return**
- ASO7 $104,938 to $113,435 per annum plus super.
