**About the role**
An open opportunity for an enthusiastic Junior Payroll Officer/administrator to join a busy, yet stable team in North Sydney. This business is a market leader in their industry and works in an organised payroll teams. The role is suited to someone who is passionate about Payroll and is seeking to jumpstart their career in the finance/accounting space. This role may have the opportunity to expand into the wider area of finance and not limited to payroll duties.

**The Responsibilities**:

- Assist with payroll calculations and general duties such as maintaining employee database, entering new hires etc.
- Ensure all relevant awards are adhered to.
- Chase approvals from Manager when needed.
- Communicate effectively with all levels in the business including store teams and senior management.
- Administer employee payroll and records, including engagement, deductions, superannuation allowances, reimbursements, leave and other related matters.

**The successful applicant will have**
- You could be a recent Graduate who majored in Accounting/Finance and are seeking to take their next step.
- Ability to follow directions and ask questions.
- Be motivated and driven.
- Excellent communication skills
