Combining this with their live events and a drinks and candy bar, they have been creating the ultimate social experiences for their customers for the past 8 years.

With a team of people across service and hospitality within the venue, they are now looking for their next Junior Payroll Officer to join their award-winning team.

**About You**

While you may have experience with Xero or other accounting software, you are always on the lookout for ways to learn and develop your knowledge of new systems to help improve the way you do things. You’re someone who enjoys learning new things and proactively seeks out feedback.

**About the Role**

This a position where you will play a pivotal role in managing the payroll of the 25+ people in the events and hospitality team. Your key responsibilities will include:

- Preparing weekly pay runs including checking and managing all awards, contracts, and timesheets in Deputy.
- Identifying and quickly resolving any payroll discrepancies.
- Reconciliation of Xero accounts and general bookkeeping, as well as processing supplier invoices in Xero.
- Processing weekly and monthly journals both inter-company and reconciliation.
- Administrator management of the induction process including contracts, Deputy, Xero, Gmail, Asana, Lattice, Slack, and other business systems.

- Experience in payroll or motivated to learn about payroll.
- High attention to detail.
