**About the role**
We have an opportunity for a **Regional Emergency Management Officer** to be part of our Northern Region Police District team. The Regional Emergency Management Officer provides executive support for the Region Emergency Operations Centre and associated committees, in relation to significant emergencies/incidents in accordance with the State Emergency & Rescue Management (SERM) Act 1989. Provide emergency management support to NSWPF as a combat agency and where no other agency has legislated responsibility during emergencies.
The location of the workplace for this role is within the Northern Region office located at the Newcastle Police Station.
