**About the Role**:
Reporting into the Managing Director this role is part of the Senior Leadership Team and will lead the operations of the Support Centre, to maintain the best level of care and support for our clients.

The main focus of this role is to drive the Service Development of VIVA Mutual’s NDIS and Aged Care at home disability support services, ensuring that VIVA’s policies and procedures are NDIA compliant, that NDIA standards are met for clients, and VIVA’s policies and procedures are followed at all times.

**Main responsibilities**:

- Oversee the delivery of NDIS at home and in the community support
- To carry out scheduled quarterly Supervisions and annual Appraisals for VIVA SMT Members
- Direct people management of the Support Centre, and indirectly to the self manages teams
- To carry out On Call duties, overnight and at weekends, on a rota basis as determined by VIVA
- Undertake appropriate and authorized investigations into alleged misconduct or poor performance of Support Staff
- To ensure VIVA Supports and Services operate and comply with relevant Australian laws, rules and regulations
- To work with VIVA Self-Managed Teams, and others involved in the Participants’ support, to maintain best level of support for Clients taking all related factors into account, i.e., medication, support plan
- Ensure regular spot checks on Support Workers work in Client’s home
- Attend reviews with multi-disciplinary team
- Oversee the planning and organising staff recruitment

**What you will bring**:

- Relevant qualification
- High level experience in NDIS Service provision, Nursing, Therapy, Social Work, or a Clinical environment
- Proven operational leadership in NDIS At Home support
- Knowledge of, and commitment to, person-centred approaches to social care
- Tactful and diplomatic approach to others
- Committed to continuous improvement of service and systems
- Ability to work flexibly including evenings and weekends (at times)
- Diving licence and car.
- Knowledge of NDIA and Aged Care Standards as well as NDIS Funded Service Provision
