**About the Opportunity**

This opportunity is for an experienced Production Manager to lead our Aluminum production team and join the management team within our Stegbar Lansvale business, you will have the ability to really influence the direction and the results of the business. We are a made to order business, driving quality improvements ensuring customer satisfaction will be one of your top priorities along with driving the LEAN and continuous improvement methodology, design and implement strategies to improve production performances.

In addition, you’ll:

- improve engagement and culture through leadership, training and mentorship
- drive training initiatives and processes to develop team members
- maintain timely production schedules and communicate issues or delays
- ensure all resources are used to optimise output
- maintain a strong customer focus

**About You**

We’re looking to leverage your experience in people management in a building materials manufacturing environment, along with the ability to adapt to the complexities of our manufacturing business. Balancing competing priorities and demands comes naturally to you, experience in managing and growing the capability of a medium size team (35 - 55) of skilled members whilst maintaining high levels of employee engagement, as key deliverables of this role.

You need to have an open and transparent communication style, including the ability to gain trust and elicit support from others, you need to have the ability to connect with a range of people at different levels and the capacity to work well across all stakeholder groups to provide strategic and operational advice.

In addition, you must have:

- understanding of manufacturing
- understanding of LEAN & CI methodology and principles
- experience in implementing LEAN concepts across a large workforce
