We seek a suitably-qualified radiation oncologist clinical research fellow to work as part of the radiation oncology prostate cancer team at the Alfred Health Radiation Oncology (AHRO) to gain experience and expertise in all aspects of the practical radiation therapy care of men with prostate cancer, and also work as part of the Prostate Cancer Outcomes Registry at Monash University to assist in their work in improving the quality of care for men with prostate cancer.
The clinical Research Fellow will be responsible for the clinical and research direct oversight of at least two clinical trials in prostate cancer SABR treatments working directly to the specialist radiation oncologist principal investigator of these trials.
At GRO the role is more general and clinical but an important aspect is to facilitate prostate cancer clinical research at that regional facility.
