**About Radiation Oncology at Austin Health**

At the Olivia Newton John Cancer Wellness and Research Centre (ONJ Centre), within Austin Health our patients experience world-leading cancer care, complemented by a comprehensive suite of wellness programs to support our patients in body, mind and spirit. The ONJ Centre is a comprehensive cancer centre encompassing Radiation Oncology, Medical Oncology, ONJ Research Institute, cancer and palliative care wards and a unique Wellness Centre. The Radiation Oncology department operates 3 Elekta Linacs with XVI and Brainlab ExacTrac imaging, 3D & 4D Cone Beam CT (IFI), ABC breath hold and HexaPOD 6DOF couch. Treatment planning is supported by the Elekta Monaco RTPS with MOSAIQ patient management software. We provide comprehensive Superficial X-ray, Stereotactic and Brachytherapy programs. We are committed to providing a service that embraces new technology, new techniques and new ways of treating each patient so that the best outcome can be achieved. We’ve recently installed Elekta Unity MR Linac, and 1.5T Philips Ingenia Ambition MRI for RT Simulation supporting a full MRI workflow for radiotherapy patients state-wide.

**About these roles**

**Permanent Full time / Part Time (2.0 EFT)**

An opportunity exists for experienced Radiation Therapists to compliment the diverse and clinically motivated team at the ONJ Centre. Your focus will be to support the Grade 4 RT in providing leadership to the team in maintaining the highest standards of clinical care and contributing to technical innovation whilst supporting quality improvement, research & development. You will have broad clinical experience in planning and treatment, demonstrated ability to collaborate within the team, and be supportive of change in a positive way. You will possess strong technical expertise and highly developed communication skills.

**Requirements for this role**
- Bachelor of Applied Science in Medical Radiations or equivalent
- Current registration as a Medical Radiation Practitioner with Australian Health Practioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), or hold a qualification and have the clinical experience necessary to be eligible for registration
- Hold a current Victorian Radiation Use licence, or hold a qualification and have the clinical experience necessary to be eligible for such a license
- Rostered shift duty, overtime and on-call service may be required
- Salary is in accordance with the current Allied Health Professionals Enterprise Agreement.
