**The Role**

We are looking for a maintenance fitter to join our maintenance team in Arndell Park. This role is a permanent full-time position, Monday to Friday working on day shift and supporting the team leader with the on-call roster.

The successful applicant will need to be flexible and be able to work other shifts (Afternoon or Night Shift) and on weekends as required.

**Responsibilities**
- Maintain and ensure extrusion manufacturing lines are kept in good, safe, working order to minimise downtime
- Welding and fabrication of new and existing projects
- Electrical problem solving (disconnect/ reconnect, resetting overloads)
- Tool making
- Die cleaning and trailing
- Preventative and planned maintenance on machinery and responding to breakdowns.
- Fault finding
- Machining of parts

**The Individual**
- Certificate III in Engineering (Mechanical Trade)
- Qualification to disconnect/ re-connect electrical is desirable
- Working at heights license is desirable
- Forklift license is desirable
- Experience in maintenance and/ or mechanical fault finding
- Machining experience
- Fabrication & Welding experience
- Undertakes duties with a workmanship like manner with a safety mindset
- Effective time management and organisational skills
- Self-starter and excellent communication skills
- A team player and can work autonomously
