**About the role

Fixed term temporary full time opportunity to undertake the operational management of a multidisciplinary team of health professionals. Provide strategic direction and advice around suicide prevention and oversee the implementation and future development of Metro North Mental Health's (MNMH) ASPIRES: Suicide, Self-Harm and Overdose Prevention Plan.

About you

Lead the development and delivery of training programs to increase knowledge of, and ability to respond to, consumers/clients presenting with suicidal crises, incorporating principles of comprehensive care.
Provide clinical practice consultation, supervision and leadership for relevant focus, working and/or peer supervision groups across the Directorate, this could include Community of Practice facilitation.
Be involved in Critical Incident analyses related to Suicide, Self-Harm and Overdose.
Proactively plan labour and non-labour expenditure and manage the financial resources of the team for efficient and effective delivery of the health service within a defined budget.
