Brisbane, Australia Queensland Police Service Full time

**The core capability requirements for this role are**:
Provide expert advice to senior management of the Queensland Police Service on contemporary industrial relations, high level dispute resolution, strategic employment frameworks and the management of enterprise bargaining agreements.
Provide interpretation advice on awards, enterprise bargaining agreements, legislation and policies to all levels of management and employees. Assist in the negotiation, development, and implementation of enterprise bargaining agreements for all employee groups, including negotiating with relevant union/employee representatives.
Resolve grievances and disputes through the provision of advice to management or by independent review and reporting.
Prepare briefing material, cabinet submissions and correspondence in relation to industrial relations issues, employment and policy frameworks and best practice.
Appear as an industrial advocate in the Queensland Industrial Relations Commission, other tribunals and at high level negotiations with a range of stakeholders.
