Seeking an experienced Document Control Officer to join a global leading engineering solutions-based company.
**Your new company**
Hays has partnered with a global leader in design, manufacture and supply of mill relining technologies who are looking for a Document Control Officer to join their Contracts and Project Management Department on a full-time permanent basis.
**Your new role**
As the Document Control Officer, you will be responsible for accurately maintaining the various contracts registers, document control registers, and collecting, submitting, and recording information. The Document Control Officer will provide clerical, administrative and technical support to the Document Control Coordinator, the Global Contracts and Project Manager and for their team.
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Ability to liaise with customers and exemplify genuine customer advocacy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and liaise and work with engineers and technical staff.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to documentation improvement and development
- High level of proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite
- A current QLD ‘C’ Class Driving Licensing - essential
- Experience using SolidWorks Enterprise PDM Software - desirable
- Experience using Author-It and Document Management System (DMS) - desirable
- Basic knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems e.g., Microsoft Dynamics AX - desirable
