Support Advisor

Fantastic opportunity for a Support Advisor on a 2 year FTC to join our Metcash Retail Technology team who provides systems integration and business support services for all retail customers serviced by Metcash Food & Grocery and Australian Liquor Marketers.

Metcash Retail Technology has a complex Program of Work involving liaising with regulators, development, and support of internal systems, and partnering with leading Point of Sale, Payments, eCommerce, Loyalty and Mobile Computing providers to improve our offer for all stakeholders.

The role is to deploy and oversee the maintenance, monitoring, and execution of the Scan data retrieval program and Network of the Future initiatives for Metcash.

The initial focus will be on enhancing our retail sales data collection (scan data) and to ensure the complete integrity of production product catalogue data files on going as Metcash rolls out a new ERP system, as well as making sure retailers are compliant with Network of the Future initiatives.

The role requires the ability to engage professionally with stakeholders at all levels, and on multiple projects concurrently.

What you’ll do

Commitment to providing high level customer focused service

Investigate and replicate issues reported by our MRT team, and deliver training and support material to internal Metcash teams

Provide remote technical and software support associated with the maintenance of POS Vendor Software

Problem & Incident management to prevent recurrence of incidents and /or minimize impact

Demonstrated skills and experience in resolving incidents

Good planning and organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines within short timeframes (Structured and methodical approach to project tracking and reporting)

Superior customer engagement experience and skills

Detail oriented and results driven

Previous experience in database management acquiring and analysing data and experience in using any POS systems is desirable
