Our Airports section specialises in the design of aerodrome infrastructure including aircraft pavements, aeronautical ground lighting, drainage, earthworks, civil engineering and airfield planning.

**The Opportunity**

Airfield civil design is a specialised and rewarding niche and, at Beca, we have over 35 years of experience leading the way in airport design and technical expertise. Following exciting project wins, our well-established Airports team is seeking an early-career Geometric Civil Designer to join us.

Based in Brisbane, this role offers a unique chance to further develop your skills by collaborating with some of Australasia’s leading geometric designers in airfield and civil infrastructure.

As a Civil Designer, you will:

- Support the delivery of geometric and civil designs for airfield projects across Australia.
- Collaborate with our national team to meet client needs, ensuring timely delivery with the appropriate level of detail.
- Coordinate with civil designers across Beca to provide efficient design outputs and documentation.
- Contribute to the design process by driving innovation and efficiency for projects delivered through traditional and design-construct methods.

**About You**

You’ll bring experience in geometric design for airports or other civil infrastructure (such as roads or rail), including utilities, within a consulting environment.

Proficiency in 12D, AutoCAD, problem identification, design coordination and resolution is essential for success in this role.
