**Description**:
Stantec are currently delivering some of Queensland’s largest hospital and Defence Estate projects along with a variety of commercial, land development, civil infrastructure, and transport projects. We are looking for enthusiastic civil designers to join our established and growing team. Our team work on civil engineering only projects as well as a variety of multi-disciplinary projects.

This role includes civil design and documentation across a range of projects and sectors. Projects range from early concept design and master planning through to detailed design and construction documentation.

Day to day tasks would involve:

- \tTechnical design and documentation utilizing 12d, Civil 3d and AutoCAD as primary packages.
- \tDesign collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team of engineers, designers and BIM modelers.
- \tBe responsible for project designs dependent on experience and complexity
- \tParticipate in meetings with clients and other consultants
- \tAdhere to professional standards, ethics and Stantec quality procedures
- \tOpportunities for site and field work

To be successful for this role you will need:

- \tIdeally have good technical design background in aspects of civil design including bulk earthworks, roadworks, stormwater, sewer and water network design within reference to Australian Standards and local South East QLD authority standards.
- \tExperience in design and documentation platforms including 12d, or Civil 3D and AutoCAD
- \tExperience in stormwater management is preferred including packages such as MUSIC, DRAINS and 12d pit and pipe design.
