Exciting opportunity for an experienced Civil Designer to join a reputable and nationally recognised firm.

**Your new company**

The client is a multidisciplinary engineering consultancy, specialising in all aspects of mining engineering for surface and underground mines, ranging from study and design work to the entire project management cycle. With an extensive network of major mining houses and operators as well as industry-wide suppliers, they are now looking to increase their capability in the Civil and Structural team, with the appointment of an experienced Civil Designer.

**Your new role**

As a Civil Designer, your role will involve:

- Assess and redesign pavements to accommodate large haul trucks.
- Design bulk earthworks based on optimal slab levels.
- Create final grading profiles for structural earthworks.
- Develop berms for vehicle separation as per traffic management plans.
- Incorporate drainage control strategies into final levels.
- Provide details for new drainage channels and trenching for underground services.
- Prepare deliverables for review, tender, and construction.
- Calculate cut-fill quantities for tender purposes.
- Ensure a clear scope definition for all tenders.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or relevant experience in a related discipline
- Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, etc.). Civil 3D being the preferred
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- The ability to work across multidisciplinary teams
