**About the role**

Reporting to the Logistics Manager, the Supply Superintendent is responsible for the supervision of employees, contractors & will oversee all Distribution Centre inbound and outbound material processing and logistics movements.
- Manage the Distribution Centre in compliance with company’s policies and vision
- Oversee receiving, warehousing, truck load out and distribution and assist with stakeholder coordination
- Initiate, coordinate and enforce fit for purpose operational policies and procedures
- Adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements
- Drive effective trailer utilisation and compliance to Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and Dangerous Goods legislation.
- Manage stock control and reconcile with warehouse management system.
- Liaise with internal customers, suppliers and transport companies.
- Plan work rosters, assign tasks appropriately and appraise performance results.
- Recruit, select, orient, coach and motivate employees.
- Produce reports and statistics regularly.
- Establish or monitor specific logistics and supply chain-based performance measurement systems.
- Maintain and develop standards, procedures, work instructions and/or QRGs for warehousing activities and processes.
- Train group stores & logistics personnel in roles or responsibilities regarding MinRes logistics strategies.
- Maintain metrics, reports, process documentation, service logs, training register and safety records.
- Design and implement specific MinRes customer requirements, such as internal reporting or customised warehousing and store related metrics.
- Identify process improvements within the PDC ensuring key stakeholders are informed before initiating changes.

**About you**
- 4+ Years in a Supply Leadership or similar position.
- Demonstrated experience leading a team of 10 or more reports.
- Use of MS Office suite of software with a good understanding of Excel spreadsheets and analysis.
- Knowledge of ERP systems and transport booking software.
- Experience working with CoR and road legislation in relation to road transport.
- Proven experience of Warehouse and logistics functions in a Distribution Centre setting, or mining environments.
