**About the role**

Reporting to the Warehouse Superintendent the role will oversee all distribution centre Inbound and Outbound freight and logistics movements, the safe receipt, storage, handling, packaging, and timely dispatch of goods for all MinRes group companies and subsidiaries.
- Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and vision
- Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution and assist with stakeholder coordination
- Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilisation
- Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures
- Adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements
- Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security
- Manage stock control and reconcile with warehouse management system
- Liaise with internal customers, suppliers and transport companies
- Plan work rosters, assign tasks appropriately and appraise performance results
- Produce reports and statistics regularly
- Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided
- Establish or monitor specific supply chain-based performance measurement systems
- Create policies or procedures for warehousing activities and processes
- Train group stores & logistics personnel in roles or responsibilities regarding MRL logistics strategies
- Maintain metrics, reports, process documentation, service logs, training register and safety records
- Design and implement specific MinRes customer requirements, such as internal reporting or customised warehousing and store related metrics
- Develop a management plan to ensure continuity of supply in emergency scenarios
- Work with key suppliers toward direct system integration for all transaction data
- Provides data analysis that drives services and cost savings through KPI’s and various metrics

**About you**
- Minimum 5 years in an operational leadership role
- Proven experience and understanding of warehousing and logístical operations
- Proven experience and understanding of transportation operations
- Record of successful people and systems management
- Demonstrable ability to lead, manage and empower staff
- Proficient in standard WMS software
