About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Overhauls, Repairables & Warranty Superintendent to join The Whitehaven Coal family at Blackwater mine. The Overhauls, Repairables & Warranty Superintendent will be responsible for the overall coordination of the repairable, service exchange and warranty processes to deliver consistent component repair performance.
This role can be based out of Brisbane, Newcastle or Gunnedah, with some travel required.
What You’ll Do
- Accountable to perform vendor inspections and assess scope of repair and quality for critical component rebuilds
- Accountable to identify and/or endorse asset disposal opportunities in accordance with Disposals Process
- Oversee the implementation of the Warranty Management Process and be the central point of contact for all warranty cases
- Collaborate with Supply team to decide what will be stocked in the warehouse and what will be direct purchased into the site based on material management analysis
- Working collaboratively with the planning team, forecast and schedule repairable component overhauls

What You’ll Bring
- Technical qualification in asset management, maintenance management and/or supply and logistics
- Experience in Warehouse and Inventory Management and linkage to work management systems and processes
- Vendor management skills and experience with contract management
- An open Australian driving licence is required.
