**Logistics Superintendent**
It’s not every day you have the opportunity to be in involved in the start-up of a new mineTo make your
mark and be there from the beginning. Well here is that long-awaited, unique opportunity to do just that - a
Greenfield mine in the Hunter Valley with all the associated excitement of building and being part of
something new.

The Maxwell Underground Project, owned by Malabar Resources Ltd has commenced construction with
production planned of up to 8 million tonnes of coal per annum. With a long life, the underground mine
targets high quality coal, with the majority being metallurgical coal.

Malabar is now seeking an energetic and skilled Logistics Superintendent on a medium term, defined-period
contract basis.

Maxwell is now seeking a highly skilled and energetic Logistics Superintendent. Reporting to the Maxwell
Infrastructure Manager, this role is a key management role and will be fundamental in the development and
management of the overall site logistics strategy. The role is based at the Maxwell site, 10 minutes from the
township of Muswellbrook.

**Job Tasks and Responsibilities**:
As the Logistics Superintendent, some of the duties will include:

- Manage contractual commitments and relationships for above rail provider, below rail and Port.
- Coordinate with operations and CHPP for scheduling of coal quality and volumes from pit to port to

meet shipment requirements.
- Manage port services agreements, including superintending.
- Key contact for HVCCC.
- Develop and implement stockpile systems for efficient logistics management.
- Coordinate with sales and marketing to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Oversee rail maintenance provider and contract.
- Budget, forecast, and control costs for all logistics activities.

**Skills and Experience**:

- Experience in coal logistics.
- Tertiary qualifications in related discipline preferred.
- Contractor management skills.
- Good communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
