We are urgently seeking casual Library Services Officers to join our temporary team working within libraries across the Ipswich area.

We will be offering casual shifts across a Monday to Sunday roster (peak need being weekdays), working approximately 20 hours per week.

Key duties include:

- Customer service
- Providing digital/technical assistance to customers using public access PCs and online resources
- Shelving of library items and preparation/tidying of shelves
- Movement of library items (with the aide of trolleys)
- Sanitising high touch points
- Back of house library and administrative tasks as directed

To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to demonstrate:

- Well developed communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to delivering a high level of customer service
- High level of attention to detail
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision
- Good spelling, reading, writing and visual accuracy skills.
- Sound level of problem solving aptitude
- Willingness to ask questions and seek clarification
- Physical fitness and capability to perform manual handling / shelving tasks associated with the role (including standing for long periods of time and moving items with the assistance of trolleys).
- Ability to remain focused while performing repetitive tasks
- Availability to work on a casual roster, commencing as soon as possible
- Current QLD Drivers Licence (C Class)
