**About the Role**

We have an exciting opportunity for a Fleet Controller to join our Sydney team located in Arndell Park. You will play a pivotal role in the coordination of all pick-ups and deliveries of freight. With your exceptional attention to detail, organisational skills and ability to multitask you will support our team by allocating, route planning and dispatching deliveries. This is an integral and hands on role within both our Sydney operation and business as a whole.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Allocation of deliveries and pick-ups to the local fleet. An excellent knowledge of the Sydney metropolitan region is a must.
- Driver management, including pallet control, monitoring of POD’s and ensuring timeslots are met.
- Serve as a key point of contact between the fleet operations and customer service teams.
- Ensure deliveries or transport services are completed on time and to standard.
- Communicate delays or issues proactively and professionally.
- Responsibility for fleet costs whilst ensuring customer’s expectations are met or exceeded where possible.
- Liaison with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Daily problem solving.
- WHS and COR compliance.
- Ensuring exceptional levels of visibility and service are maintained at all times.

**Key qualifications and Experience**:

- Minimum 5 years proven experience managing a pickup fleet with more than 25 vehicles on road.
- Current motor vehicle licence.
- Forklift licence preferred but not essential.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to problem solve with great attention to detail.
- 100% commitment to deliver high customer service, every time.
- Possess a strong team and work ethic.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
