**About the Role**
As a part of this role, you will be responsible for delivering high quality advice and services encompassing all aspects of health, safety, and wellbeing.

Your main responsibilities will involve providing high-level consulting services, contributing to relevant policy and advocacy initiatives, and expanding a growing consulting portfolio.

In this position, you will provide guidance and support on a wide range of issues, including but not limited to:

- Reviewing, advising on, and developing practical and compliant Safety Management Systems, including their various components.
- Drafting risk assessments, safe work method statements, and safe work procedures.
- Conducting audits, performing gap analyses, and making recommendations for improvements based on relevant legislation, as well as recognized Australian and Global Standards.
- Managing and conducting incident investigations, as well as carrying out root cause analyses.
- Offering advice on Workers Compensation claims, representing members and clients in conciliation processes, and assisting with the development of return-to-work plans.
- Providing support, guidance, and representation to members and clients in resolving Health, Safety, and Wellbeing (HSW) issues involving employees and third parties, including unions.

**About You**
With your passion, qualifications, and advanced communication skills, you will play a pivotal role in providing valuable advice and services to our clients and members in the field of health, safety, and wellbeing.

You will have:

- Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent industry experience (experience in legal practice is highly advantageous).
- Thorough and current knowledge of pertinent legislation, case law, and broader WHS relations matters.
- Demonstrated capability to identify significant WHS issues and present suitable resolution options, including an assessment of associated risks.
- Proven track record in providing accurate and reliable advice.
- Active pursuit and achievement of business opportunities.
- Excellent communication skills, encompassing the ability to comprehend, interpret, and communicate complex issues in a clear and accessible manner.
- Proficiency in developing professional and formal documents
