Troocoo have partnered with this leading financial services organisation to assist with finding an experienced Data Governance Consultant to join the team in a newly created permanent role.

The primary function of this role is to Champion, Deliver and maintain the Data Management Framework for the organisation and specialising in managing the information flow, including the integrity, efficiency, and availability of data.

**To be considered and suited this role, the following key technical competencies and work will be required;**
- Excellent knowledge of Australian Information Management and Security and Privacy legislation and industry best practices.
- Able to design and deliver data management reporting, including presentation to senior management and Executives
- Able to develop effective and trusted relationships with all stakeholders.
- Experience with cloud Data Governance and Catalog tools and Data Quality Tooling
- A good communicator able to effectively collaborate, deliver information and determine the appropriate tone and level of detail for the requirement including ability to deliver excellent presentations and training programs.
- Good time management, able to work independently and take full ownership for responsibilities and issues identified.
- SQL, Python and technical Data Governance experience with lineage mapping, data quality rules, CDE tagging etc.
- University Degree in Analytics, Data Science, IT or Computer Science, Finance, Business or Law
