**The Company**

PHM Health is a registered NDIS provider offering services and support to people with disabilities and assisting the community with independence. Our aim is to assist our Participants in the pursuit of their life choices, either in their own home or the community, to enable greater quality of life experiences.

PHM Health provides support services including in-home assistance, such as food preparation, personal care, and day-to-day tasks. Also, budgeting, getting to places and training. We deliver social support and everyday life skill development both on a one-to-one basis and through group support options to help Participants achieve their goals.

Recently PHM Health focused on giving back to the community and developed PHM Health Australia, which is it’s not for profit entity. PHM Health Australia is a fully incorporated entity with fully charity status.

**About the Role**

We are now looking for an Accounts Payable Officer to join our Finance Team on a permanent part time basis. You will have responsibility over the accounts payable processes and timesheet approval. There will be an opportunity to further develop your skills while working in this finance team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Check and approve timesheets daily in a timely manner.
- Communication of timesheet issues with relevant Team Leader, Scheduling Team, and Senior Finance Officer.
- Follow up on all timesheets that are unapproved, have unresolved issues and escalate to Senior Finance Officer in case of complex matters.
- Assist with Payroll (after pay) queries e.g., investigate travel discrepancies, accuracy of information, address verification, missing billing travel KMS, cancelled payable-non payable shifts, etc.).
- Assist with Accounts Payable including checking incoming bills, obtaining the right approval (according to the delegation Matrix).
- Assist with creating weekly payment batch file in Xero and submit it to Senior Finance Officer for checking and payment.
- Assist with invoice and claim process in absence of other finance team members.
- Adhere to company policies and NDIS price arrangements and Guidelines in day-to-day practice.

**Requirements**:

- Certification or Qualifications in Finance or Accounting
- Previous experience in a finance or accounts role
- Excellent Microsoft Office suite skills
- Energetic and ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work against strict deadlines
- Superior organisational and communication skills with a good sense of initiative
- Be a proactive member of the team who can help out in various aspects of accounts
- Legal rights to work in Australia
- COVID-19 vaccination

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $28.00 per hour
