**About the Role**
We are seeking passionate and reliable **Disability Support Workers** to join our team. This role involves supporting individuals with disabilities in SIL homes, community access programs, and group settings. Your primary goal is to promote **independence, inclusion, and quality of life** for our participants.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide **daily living support** such as meal preparation, personal care, and household tasks in SIL homes.
- Assist participants with **social and community activities** to encourage independence and engagement.
- Support clients in building essential life skills, including personal development, communication, and decision-making.
- Facilitate **group programs** that promote social inclusion, teamwork, and personal growth.
- Encourage and assist with **transportation and mobility needs** when required.
- Maintain accurate records and follow individual support plans.
- Work collaboratively with participants, families, and other support staff to ensure a high standard of care.
**What We’re Looking For**
- A passion for supporting individuals with disabilities and promoting independence.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, patient, and adaptable to different situations.
- Previous experience in disability support, aged care, or a similar field (preferred but not essential).
**Requirements**:
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- First Aid & CPR Certification
- Valid Driver’s License and access to a reliable vehicle
- Comprehensive Car Insurance
- Cert III or IV in Disability, Individual Support, or a related field (preferred but not required).
