Greenacre, Australia Alpha Omega Aged Care and Disability Service Full time

With growing clients in the regions, so are our workforce. Alpha Omega Aged Care is urgently hiring aged care/disability service support workers in a part time permanent basis. The purpose of the role is to assist elderly and disability clients in performing daily tasks and improve overall independence and wellbeing in a home or community setting.

Location: InnerWest, Bankstown, Campsie, Strathfield

**Job responsibilities**:

- Assisting with daily care for clients at their home including showering, changing clothes, brushing their teeth, etc.
- Transporting and accompanying clients when required.
- Performing housekeeping including domestic cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, shopping.
- Training clients to care for themselves and educate family members.
- Social support to improve clients’ wellbeing and independence.
- Perform administrative duties such as always clocking in/out after each shift, making incident reports, and entering shift notes on the rostering app.

**About you**
- Confident and calm manner.
- Communication: the ability to communicate clearly and concisely and to adapt** **communication skills to each client you work with.
- urrent Criminal History Check (National Police Check)

**Desirable Qualifications and other criteria.**
- Experience on working with people with Disabilities and/ elderly people.
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability or Home, Social and Community Service).
- Having full driver licence and owning a car.
