Medical Receptionist

**EXPERIENCED MEDICAL RECEPTIONIST POSITION AVAILABLE**

An exciting new opportunity has opened up for a bubbly enthusiastic, experienced medical receptionist.

We are seeking to find the perfect fit for our family friendly team.

The Medical Receptionist role is the primary point of contact for our patients, doctors and allied health providers.

The successful applicant would be appointed as a part time or casual employee at our Ellenbrook location working 15 hours per week, more hours available within company if willing to travel to cover annual leave and sick leave.

**You will be responsible for**:

- Greeting patient
- Handling a variety of patients phone call enquiries.
- Handling a busy switch board
- Booking appointments and entering patient data
- Generating invoices and receiving payments
- Processing Medicare Claims
- Handling of incoming mail and preparation of mail to send
- Maintaining doctor’s bookings and schedules
- Being responsive to other team member requests
- Taking all doctors requests in a timely manner
- Other ad hoc administration as required

**Requirements**:
Minimum 1 years of experience in a similar role within the medical field.
- Be able to work in a team or autonomously.
- Be reliable and honourable.
- Best Practice Software experience beneficial but not essential
- Excellent computer abilities including Microsoft Office
- Exceptional phone manner
- Be able to multitask and priorities all times.
- Willing to travel to different locations.

- Afternoon shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- Medical admin: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Willingness to travel:

- 50% (preferred)
