**About the role**:
As an Access and Agreements Specialist, you will be instrumental in enabling land access for renewable and cleaner energy projects. Your core responsibility will involve preparing and negotiating land access and property-related agreements with landholders and their representatives, ensuring adherence to guidelines and contractual requirements. Additionally, you will oversee statutory compliance obligations and contract governance. This position is based in Brisbane and offers a flexible hybrid work arrangement, allowing you to work remotely for three days a week while occasionally traveling to meet with landholders.

**Key contributions**:

- Provide support and mentorship to Generation & Development teams on Land Access requirements and practices
- Develop and implement land access strategies aligned with Origin's values
- Lead land access contractual disputes and alternate dispute resolution processes
- Manage contracts governance and execution to ensure compliance
- Conduct due diligence, advise on legislative and contractual issues, and engage with landholders to establish sustainable relationships

**What you bring to the table**:

- Minimum of 10 years' experience in energy, resources/mining, or heavy industry sectors, specialising in negotiation and delivery of property-related agreements
- Expertise in developing strategies for gaining and maintaining access to renewable energy resources and land, with a deep understanding of land access legislation and property-related matters in Australia
- Resilient and proactive mindset, strong critical thinking, and strategic analysis skills
- Excellent negotiation, conflict resolution, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships, a solution-focused approach, and superior problem-solving skills
