We are an established medical/dental clinic located in Wallan, offering a high-quality healthcare service for our patients.

**The position**:
We are looking for a casual dental assistant/receptionist to join our fantastic team, 2-3 days a week.

You will work with a committed team and will enjoy a varied and engaging role.

**Skills and experience**:

- You are competent in dental assisting and administrative/reception duties.
- You are experienced in infection control and sterilisation procedures.
- You are competent with D4 Windows software (or similar).
- You are competent in processing payments and health insurance claims via HICAPS.

**Responsibilities include**:

- You will answer the phone, schedule appointments, greet and welcome patients and visitors to the clinic.
- You will work closely with the Dentists, providing chair side assistance such as handing equipment, suction, taking records, impressions and x-rays etc.
- You will perform administrative tasks such as billing, correspondence, scheduling, maintaining patient records etc.
- You will be responsible for ongoing and routine maintenance and sterilisation of equipment and assist with stocking supplies.
- You will liaise effectively with other clinic team members to ensure the smooth operation of the clinic and the delivery of high quality patient care/experience.
