The Opportunity
An amazing opportunity for an experienced Technical Specification Manager is available within our Construction Systems Business Unit based in Scoresby VIC.
As the Technical Specification Manager, you will provide the architectural and design community with advice and support across the Construction Systems (CS) portfolio of segments, while developing and maintaining a close connection with architects, consultants, certifiers, and designers to win and grow specification across CS segments.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with Architects, Designers, Engineers, and Builder Design specifiers to acquire and retain CS product and system specifications for projects
- Foster and sustain robust business relationships with architectural and engineering firms, gaining insight into their present and future project needs
- Offer technical support to customers, architects, engineers, and internal sales to effectively address customer requirements
- Conduct product training sessions, including CPD or seminar series, to educate architects, specifiers, and industry participants about the performance of CS products, comparing them to competing products and systems
- Develop and execute a specification project pipeline to contribute to sales growth
- Work in tandem with the state sales team to meet or exceed sales targets
- Follow up and support the sales team in the handover of specified projects, utilizing the CRM process to close sales
- Ensure the distribution and upkeep of relevant Architectural marketing materials with key customers and target stakeholders
- Adhere to WHSE authorities as outlined in the responsibilities matrix

About You
- Knowledge of building and construction systems. Demonstrated experience - consultative selling experience with proven track record
- At least 2 years' experience of architectural constructions specification industry or 4 years' experience in related trade
- Demonstrate a track record of identifying new construction projects, and a proven ability to influence the specifier to use CS systems and ensure those specifications stick
- Technical qualifications are desirable
- Demonstrate an ability to work with technical solutions and develop rapport with clients so that they feel that CS can come up with better solutions for their projects
- Experience preparing, performing presentations and public speaking
- Project and time management skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications. CRM System experience
