About the role

We are currently recruiting for Disability Support Workers to provide ongoing support to our participant on a 24/7 roster. Our participant requires support for a varying range of shifts. Support requirements may include, personal care, transportation, community access, activities of daily living and independent living skills.

About you

As a compassionate, reliable, and dedicated experienced Disability Support Worker, you will have a passion to make a difference to the lives of the people you support by providing quality individual supports. You will have experience building strong rapport and implementing support plans, including behaviour support plans.
- Experience supporting participants with physical disabilities and mental health
- Experience supporting people with behaviours of concern
- Experience supporting participants to meet their personal goals, with daily living and independent living skills
- Understanding of Autism
- Experience writing accurate and detailed case notes
- First Aid Certificate
- Drivers Licence
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- Working with Children Check
- Proof of Covid-19 Vaccination
- Legal working rights in Australia

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $30.95 - $34.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Bendigo VIC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- National Police Certificate (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
