**About the Role**:
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Female Disability Support Worker to assist a client with personal care needs, including Sera Stead transfers. This role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of manual handling and a commitment to maintaining client dignity, independence, and safety.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide high-quality personal care (e.g. showering, toileting, dressing)
- Support with safe transfers using Sera Stead equipment
- Assist with light domestic duties, meal preparation, and community access
- Follow care plans and report changes in client wellbeing
- Promote choice, comfort, and empowerment at all times

**Essential Requirements**:

- Minimum 1 year experience in disability or aged care support
- Certificate III or IV in Disability or Individual Support (or equivalent)
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current Police Check
- Working With Children Check
- First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Current Manual Handling Training
- Experience with Sera Stead transfers
- Up-to-date Flu Vaccination
- Excellent communication skills and professional boundaries

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $32.50 - $34.50 per hour

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Morning shift
- Weekend availability

Work Location: In person
