What will your essential responsibilities include?
- ** Client Management**: Taking the lead and being a key contact for our clients, developing tailored account plans and driving regular engagement throughout the life cycle of the relationship.
- ** Strategy**: Responsibility for development and execution of the global programs and captives strategy.
- ** Engagement**:Foster true tripartite relationships between AXA XL, brokers and clients. Build, manage, and maintain relationships with key distributors.
- Work with Distribution and Underwriting teams to develop global programs and captives pipeline. Support tenders by providing advice on global program and captive elements.
- Champion X -sell, pursuit of increased share of wallet and product density key performance indicators. Actively drive follow to lead positions, captive development and structured risk solutions.
- Onboarding of new global programs from end-to-end and acting as the point of contact for escalation management.
- Support Underwriters and Middle Office in structuring, implementing, and servicing global programs and captives.
- Enable Payer to Partner strategy for multinational clients.
- Promote global programs & captives capability in Australia, working closely with clients, brokers, Industry Associations, and regulators.
- Collaborate with APAC & Europe, Captive and Global Program Teams.

- Strategic and forward thinking, ability to assess portfolio performance and identify growth areas.
- Experience in a Distribution or Global Programs and Captives role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Based in Melbourne, with travel when required.
- Knowledge of functionality of systems including strong technical skills with Microsoft Office and other relevant systems.
- Ability to respond to a changing environment with flexibility and innovations.
- Ability to lead in accordance with AXA XL core values and culture.
- Leadership - Guide and influence others into a direction or decision that empowers them. Guides the strategic vison of a team and organization.
- Marketing - Effectively plan for sales and business development. Integrating the use of various techniques, tools, and information to support profitable business growth over a defined period.
- Industry Knowledge - Understanding of the insurance industry and specific product portfolios to positively impact the underwriting business.
- Analytical Skills - Visualize, gather information, articulate, analyze and solve complex problems in order to make key business decisions
