Tyler Wren is working with a great client of ours to assist with recruiting a Compliance Officer. As the Compliance Officer, you will deal with new clients' onboarding procedures and review and verify existing client relationships in accordance with regulations.

**You will also be responsible for, but not limited to**:

- Managing information for compliance with the AML/CFT Act
- Review, analyse and have a good understanding of relevant laws including any relevant changes
- Evaluation of financial statements, business activities and other structures
- Evaluate financial products and services and their exposure to money laundering. Undertake risk identification
- Coordinating with other staff to organise and maintain information systems in relation to legal requirements around AML/CFT legislation
- Evaluate the value of financial and non-financial assets and prepare reports to submit to the relevant regulators
- Implement management decisions and maintain file notes of client meetings or communications in relation to regulations, policies, and compliance with AML

**About you**:

- Relevant compliance experience with knowledge of AML/CFT and ASIC
- Legal background is an advantage
- Be a good team player
- Solid verbal and written communication skills
- Understanding of reporting obligations
- Ability to work well under pressure
